      Arthritis
      Your physician will use the results from your examination and the diagnostic tests to determine a treatment plan that is right for you.. Depending on your age, amount of damage within your hip, and your medical co-morbidities - a Total Hip Replacement may be the best answer to your problem.
      In a total hip replacement, the head of the thighbone and the socket are both removed and replaced with artificial components made of metal or ceramics. The new thigh stem is secured within the femur and the new socket is placed, and finally a plastic liner is placed so the ball glides freely on the plastic liner.

      Hip Fractures
      In many cases, your doctor may recommend surgery to fix your hip is fractured. There are several different techniques and procedures to fix hip fractures. Your surgeon will determine the type of fixation that best fits the injury.

      Trochanteric Bursitis
      With repetitive activities like walking, running, and jumping or with direct impact you may develop inflammation with in the bursa. The muscles repetitively move over the bone, and over time this can cause an irritation of the bursa. Bursitis is an inflammation of the bursa.

      Muscle strains, Tendonitis, Sports Injuries
      Many overuse injures will respond to rest, ice, oral ant-inflammatory medicine, and stretching. Your physician may recommend physical therapy.
