James A. Oliverio, MD

James A. Oliverio, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who believes in complete patient satisfaction through the delivery of the most current and best orthopedic care possible. He is also committed to treating patients like family. He recalls, “Growing up in a large household and raising five children of my own, family has always played an important role in my life. My approach to patient care is to give people the same advice, quality care and respect that I would expect for my family members.” Dr. Oliverio is a skilled surgeon who utilizes the latest orthopedic advances and techniques. Patients have great trust in his diagnostic and surgical skills and appreciate his friendly bedside manner.

Dr. Oliverio has expertise in diagnosing all orthopedic conditions and has a special interest in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine as well as trauma and fracture care. He is also one the of the first and most experienced orthopedic surgeons in Central Pennsylvania to offer robotic assisted hip and knee replacement surgery. Research proves that more experience means better patient outcomes. Dr. Oliverio is a author and lecturer and enjoys participating in all athletic endeavors.
